
Problem statement
- Construction industry & contracting companies are operating across many site’s location across the region. Based on the site’s requirements the project manager would require certain skilled resources to be transferred from one site to another. Hence, it would require a dedicated team to manage the end-to-end process, starting with (transfer request, obtaining the required approvals, identifying the resource daily/hourly cost, and then updating all the accounting/ERP systems).

Challenges
- Receiving huge number of requests daily would require a team to manage
- Handwritten forms and emails would require time to process, and approvals follow up
- Transferring the cost from a site to other would require a dedicated accountant to update the accounting/ERP systems daily

Resolution
- Introducing RPA has been a great value to manage the whole process (24/7), non-stop, accurate, no backlog
- The site team will send the request through an email to iBot
- iBot will send an email to the project managers to get the required approvals
- iBot will calculate the daily/hourly resource cost, and iBot starts updating all the ERP/accounting systems .

Results
- iBot managed to complete 600 transfer requests daily, 2 minutes each.
